PhD and Masters Studentships available at the University of East Anglia

Following the University of East Anglia’s successful bid for AHRC studentships for 2009-13, their Faculty of Arts and Humanities is pleased to announce that it will be nominating 15 AHRC PhD and Masters studentships starting in September/October 2010.

For UK residents awards consist of fees and maintenance, and for EU residents awards are on a fees-only basis. AHRC awards are available to UK/EU residents in the following subjects: 

Doctoral:
Creative Writing: 1 Doctoral studentship
English Language and Literature: 1 Doctoral studentship
Film Studies and Television Studies: 2 Doctoral studentships
History: 2 Doctoral studentships
History of Art, Architecture and Design: 2 Doctoral studentships

Masters:
Film Studies and Television Studies: 1 Research Preparation Masters award (RPM)
History: 1 Research Preparation Masters award (RPM)
History of Art, Architecture and Design: 1 Research Preparation Masters award (RPM)
Interpreting and Translation: 1 Professional Preparation Masters award (PPM)
Librarianship, Archives, Record Management and Information Science (MA in Film Archiving): 1 Professional Preparation Masters award (PPM)
Music: 1 Research Preparation Masters award (RPM)
Museum Studies: 1 Professional Preparation Masters award (PPM)

The Faculty is also pleased to offer a total of 24 additional University-funded PhD studentships and a number of MA Scholarships which are available to students from within or outside the EU across the Schools of study.

The application deadline for all of these studentships and scholarships is Monday 1st March 2010.
