Combining the campus-centered experience of studying in Canterbury and the opportunity to study in a cultural capital like Paris, places the University of Kent’s new one-year MA in Humanities in a class all its own.
University of Kent at Paris (UKP) postgraduate programmes allow students to spend the autumn term in Canterbury, the spring term in Paris and then qualify for an MA by writing a dissertation on a topic of their choice. Applicants are required to have a relevant first degree, a passion for literature, art and all things cultural, and a sense of adventure. Most of the modules are delivered in English, so French is not required.
The programme will launch in September 2009 with five MA programmes in the Humanities being offered in the first year. These will be in Fine Art, Comparative Literature, Modern French Studies, French and Comparative Literature, and English and American Literature.
