We all have at least one great book in us, or so they say. Even if you’re not doing so yourself, you probably know someone who is writing theirs but can never quite seem to get past the first chapter. Some of us are looking for the inspiration that’ll send us hurtling towards our final chapter, while others need to pick up tips that’ll help us to get our manuscript noticed. Whatever your story, the Writer For Lunch series at Middlesex University may just help you to tell it.
During the months October, November and December, Middlesex University’s Creative and Media Writing Programme will host its Writer For Lunch series, which gives both students and the local community the opportunity to find out a little more about well known writers and about what it’s like to work as a writer. Each week a different writer will talk about their writing and experiences, following which attendees will get the chance to ask questions.
The lunchtime series will take place at 1pm on Wednesdays from October 15 – December 10 in room number M009 in The Mansion House on Middlesex University’s Trent Park Campus.
