MSc scholarships available at the University of Southampton

The School of Social Sciences, at the University of Southampton, is offering Master’s scholarships for full-time students beginning their programmes in October 2011.

The School of Social Sciences has an international reputation and research expertise in economics, politics, social statistics and demography, social work, and sociology and social policy.

Research in the School of Social Sciences has been given excellent ratings in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE). Across the School, more than 50% of the research was judged to be either internationally excellent (3*) or world-leading (4*).

The MSc Master's scholarships on offer cover the tuition fees for one year's full-time study and are available to students interested in any of the following courses:

MSc Social Statistics (Research Methods pathway)
MSc Social Statistics (Statistics pathway)
MSc Social Policy and Social Research

All applications for the MSc scholarships must be received by Friday 4th March 2011.
