MA in Psychology with an international appeal at Bangor University

Wales has a strong tradition of higher education, and in the last two years alone Welsh universities have launched 100 new courses and attracted over £900m of research funding.

A good example of one of the new generation of courses that is fuelling the growth in International students is the MA Psychology at Bangor University. Offered by one of the top seven departments in UK psychology (based on the most recent RAE results), this course is designed to offer advanced study in psychology with an emphasis on both research excellence and critical writing skills. The international students enrolled on this course (and applying for the MA/MSc Consumer Psychology with Business programme new for 2008) are part of an influx of international students to Wales this year (up by 7% to over 7,000 students).
