As the global business environment rapidly changes and world markets grow increasingly interdependent, enormous opportunities and challenges for companies all over the world will continue to arise. King’s new MSc in International Marketing, to be launched in September 2009, will prepare students to understand and handle these challenges in an interdependent yet culturally diversified world. Students will learn best practice in preparing to go abroad and how to market products and services internationally as well as in domestic/regional markets. They will have an opportunity to further specialize in areas such as; consumer behaviour, entry strategies in foreign markets, services and retailing, and business to business marketing.
This innovative programme is most suitable for students who want to develop their career in marketing, sales, purchasing, advertising and media related careers in multinational as well as in smaller firms/organisations.
The new programme has been developed under the leadership of Professor Pervez N. Ghauri, who will serve as the first Director of this MSc.
