Great funding opportunity at Derby
Peter Allen, Marketing Director at the university, says, ‘We really believe in the value of continuing your education and postgraduate study is a great way to do this.’ The University of Derby has launched a new campaign called ‘Why Me‘, and as part of this campaign applicants for postgraduate courses are being asked to submit a 500-word written application which could net one lucky person £1,000 off the cost of a postgraduate course starting in September 2010. The wide range of postgraduate courses on offer at the university could aid career development or lead the way to a complete change of career direction. Programmes include: accountancy, business, marketing, acoustics, environmental health, psychotherapy, dance therapy, computer games production, education, international spa management, commercial law, graphic design, animation and illustration. Peter Allen says, ‘We want to find people committed to improving their skills - which is why we are running the competition. You can study a wide range of postgraduate courses; as a full time, part time or online student.’ To enter the competition students must submit a 500-word application saying why they should receive £1,000 off the cost of a University of Derby postgraduate course. Graduates who did their first (undergraduate) degree course at the University of Derby may also be eligible for an additional ten per cent off postgraduate course fees. Written entries must be received by the university by the closing date of Monday 31st May 2010. Click here for more information. Looking for funding for postgraduate studies in 2010?
