Funded study opportunities on offer at the University of East AngliaUp to 25 fully-funded PhD studentships are being offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of East Anglia. The studentships are being offered in the fields of international development, competition policy and regulation, economics, education and lifelong learning, law, business, and social work and psychology. Neil Ward, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, says: ‘We are pleased to be able to offer these studentships, which provide an excellent opportunity for promising postgraduates to train as UEA social science researchers.’ The university is inviting applications to a range of studentships, including Economic and Social Research Council 1+3 and +3 studentships, university-funded PhD studentships and Graduate Teaching PhD studentships. Guided projects are available and applicants are also invited to propose their own creative independent project ideas. It is recommended that prospective students attend a Postgraduate Open Day being held at the University of East Anglia on Wednesday 20th January, 2010.
