The University of Exeter Business School recently announced new funding opportunities for students taking up places on the School’s full time, one year MBA programme. The scholarship will cover five full fee scholarships, worth £17,000 each, to eligible applicants taking up the course for the 2009/10 academic year. The scholarships are aimed at supporting students who have excelled in previous academic and business careers. The school is also offering 12 other scholarships worth £5,000 each which will be awarded based on applicants’ previous work experience achievements.
‘With so much uncertainty about the economic situation over the next couple of years, many people may think this is the ideal time to return to education and develop their skills to be in the best position to take advantage of the upturn when it comes. The Business School realises that people need to be supported to be able to make this commitment and I am delighted that we’ve been able to be more generous with these scholarships that at any time in the past. It’s one of the University’s many initiatives towards helping the UK economy back on its feet,’ said Professor Richard Lamming, Director of the Business School.
The Business School was recently ranked 7th for Business Studies in the Times Good University Guide 2009 and 4th in the Guardian in 2008 for Business and Management.
