Derby shortlisted for prestigious marketing awards

University of Derby Marketing Director Peter Allen said: 'It is fantastic to get recognition for the great work our talented people do for the university and for the city of Derby. I am extremely proud of the marketing team here.' Derby's was also successful at last year's Heist Awards when University Director of Marketing, Peter Allen, scooped the Bronze award for the Marketer of the Year award and Marketing Officer Tom Warsop scooped Silver for the Digital Media category. The University of Derby's undergraduate prospectus was shortlisted in the best prospectus category. These new nomination have come at the same time as the University of Derby has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards in the Outstanding Leadership and Management Team category. The University of Derby has been shortlisted for two prestigious marketing awards at the 2010 Heist Awards. It has been shortlisted for two categories - the Best PR Campaign and the Best Integrated Campaign – in these awards which celebrate the cream of talent in education marketing. The Heist Awards ceremony will take place on May 27 at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. The Heist Awards celebrate the professionalism and innovation demonstrated by the smallest regional colleges to global education brands.
