Cranfield launches MSc in Manufacturing Technology and Management

Cranfield University is launching a new masters course in Manufacturing Technology and Management. This further cements its reputation as a leader in postgraduate manufacturing education.

Following Cranfield University’s selection recently to lead three (with involvement in a further two), of the nine new EPSRC Centres for Innovative Manufacturing across the UK, Cranfield is now set to further reinforce its reputation in this growing sector with the launch of a new Masters course in Manufacturing Technology and Management.

The MSc in Manufacturing Technology and Management draws on Cranfield's expertise in manufacturing to develop professionals with the ability to transform knowledge into action. This course will provide students with technical and business skills to make a real impact in their career.

Director of Cranfield’s Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre (IMRC), Professor David Stephenson, says, “Cranfield University works closely with a range of organisations in the manufacturing sector, conducting cutting edge research in high value manufacturing. The University is therefore in the unique position of being able to rapidly identify and respond to skills shortages in industry. This course has been designed to develop the right people with the right skills to respond to the needs of industry today and in the future.”

The course is offered both full and part-time and begins in October 2011. Click here further information, or come to an open day at Cranfield University.
