City University London features in world’s top 500 universities

The World University Rankings has placed City University London in the top 500 universities in the world for the first time. 

The Times Higher Education (THE) - QS World University Rankings 2009 present a view of the strengths of the world's leading universities. The overall rankings are compiled based on six indicators:

* Academic peer review 
* Employer review
* Faculty student ratio 
* Citations per faculty
* International faculty 
* International students
