School of Informatics
The School of Informatics provides internationally excellent education and research for the information and computing professions. The close involvement of industry in the design of the courses ensures an accelerated start for those beginning their careers, as well as the vital skills and knowledge required for those seeking development in their profession. The majority of the School's courses are accredited by the main professional body in their field.
As a postgraduate student at the School, you have an unrivalled opportunity to gain up to six months of professional IT experience as part of your degree and complete a client-based project.
Our graduate employability ranking is excellent with over 86% of our computing and information science graduates employed within six months of graduation, compared to the national average of 73.5% (HESA data).
The School of Informatics offers an extensive and innovative range of Master's courses, greatly enhanced by input from the School's research expertise.
