Cardiff Metropolitan University

The 2011 Guardian and Times Good University Guides rank Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC) as the top modern university in Wales, and amongst the top new universities in the UK with over 11,000 students from 143 different countries. The University was also ranked top in the UK for the overall quality of its International student experience by the International student Barometer (ISB), which surveys students at more than 120 universities. The excellent facilities that the University offers and the committed and enthusiastic academic staff go a considerable way towards explaining this success.

We are the only university in the UK to be ranked in the top ten universities in all six subject areas covered by the Higher Education Academy’s Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2009.
