The Overseas Research Scholarship from College of Life and Environmental Sciences aims at expanding opportunities for international students at the University of Birmingham. The University is offering up to twenty five £12,000 PhD scholarships exclusively for international students.
Research opportunities are available in the following Schools:
• Biosciences
• Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences
• Psychology
• Sport and Exercise Science
Funding awards at the doctoral level will commence in October 2009 and will be available for twenty five overseas students in a wide range of disciplines, and will be paid as a £12,000 maintenance grant (£4,000 per year). Applications are open to all graduates who are classified as ‘international’ for fee purposes.
