Bath's School for Health to host Online Open Week
The University of Bath's School for Health offers a range of innovative, postgraduate, distance learning programmes for health and social care professionals, using a combination of online learning and hands-on clinical teaching. These include Masters programmes in Sports Physiotherapy, Sport & Exercise Medicine and the Professional Doctorate in Health and a number of CPD options. The online event enables enquirers to log on to the virtual learning environment - Moodle - at any time during the week and find out what it's really like to study online. Sample learning activities and information, including library resources and the impressive animated Anatomy Online software, are available for participants to access. Current students, as well as Directors of Studies and the programme teams, will be logging on throughout the week and answering queries within the discussions forums. Following the event, potential students will have the opportunity to apply to begin their studies in September 2010 - the application deadline is in June 2010. It is necessary to register before the event. Alternatively contact Sabine Bachinger, Enquiries & Admissions Assistant, by email at S.Bachinger@bath.ac.uk or by telephone on 01225 383860.
