Bangor University to launch new MRes Psychology programme

A new MRes Psychology programme will be starting in October 2010 at the School of Psychology at Bangor University. This course is aimed at students of a high calibre who are keen to carry out independent research leading to PhD level study, or students that want to focus on a research career. During this programme students will spend two-thirds of their time carrying out research in one of the many laboratories the department runs.

Bangor University offers students a high-quality research environment, having been ranked joint highest UK dept. (awarded 6 Stars) in the CHE European Excellence Ranking and ranked 7th in UK for 'Research Power' (08 RAE).

The School of Psychology is part of the College of Health & Behavioural Sciences at Bangor University. This department offers a number of other MRes programmes focusing on sports science, medical science and healthcare practice.
