In global rankings announced on 29th September by the Financial Times, graduates of Aston Business School’s Masters in Management programmes topped the table for their career status.
This measure of career progression surveyed alumni three years after they completed their course, asking them to rate their experience. It also factored in the size of company the graduates work for and the level of seniority they have achieved so far.
The overall rankings are established by looking at twelve different points of the Masters programmes, including value for money, salary today and percentage of international students. Aston Business School achieved overall joint 18th place in the world, alongside Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria.
Professor Mike West, Executive Dean at Aston Business School stated
“The survey showed that ‘career prospects’ were the most important factor in choosing to do a Masters degree. We are pleased that the rankings highlight Aston as number one in equipping its students with exactly what they need for their careers, and that is the knowledge and confidence to progress into senior roles within the sort of businesses they want to work in.”
