Applications are still being accepted for the Masters in Leadership for Sustainable DevelopmentForum for the Future's Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development, is accepting applications until Wednesday 16th March. Forum for the Future is a sustainable charity, and this postgraduate programme is validated as an MA by Middlesex University. The Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development combines work-based learning with expert tuition, group learning and project work, reflective practice and skills development. Students from the postgraduate programme graduate with up-to-date, real-world knowledge of sustainability solutions and the capacity to develop as the type of leader needed to make the world more sustainable. A key part of this course is to look at the complex problems of sustainability and find practical ways to tackle them. If you see your future in a leadership or decision-making role, changing the systems that trap organisations and individuals in unsustainable behaviour, this Masters will equip you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to play your part. Over 2011-2012 the course is being refocused on systems innovations in line with Forum for the Future’s strategic vision. The course will give a carefully selected group of 12 recent graduates the opportunity to build their theoretical understanding and gain practical experience of the issues through a programme of work-based learning. With up to five placements in some of Forum for the Future’s partner organisations and tuition from a diverse group of leading experts and practitioners, this Masters programme is widely recognised as the premier postgraduate qualification for sustainable development leadership.
